Our client, a healthcare insurance firm, is looking for a Business Analyst. The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business process and gathering business requirements for initiatives that support the strategic objectives of the company. The analyst in this position partners with the functional groups within the business organization to communicate and clarify business needs, contribute to development of long and short term plans and ensure process and services are aligned with business needs. The analyst conducts business process analyses, needs assessments and preliminary cost versus benefit assessment. The analyst uncovers client requirements via industry standard model-driven techniques and documents and manages requirements via the approved processes, templates and tools throughout the software development life cycle. Incumbents in this position are challenged to develop and maintain effective working relations with business in a way that demonstrates an understanding of business problems as well as IT strategies, issues and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducts analysis of client business processes and functional requirements.

Prepares appropriate documentation to communicate and validate the information.

Analyzes the date, evaluates existing application products and recommends efficient cost effective solutions which support client business processes and functional requirements.

Participates in and may lead cross-functional requirements, work flow, information sources and distribution paths and system specifications.

Develops comprehensive business cases with cost, services and benefit dimensions of proposed large, complex IT projects that are used for funding and scope decisions.

Applies technical and business knowledge to analyze client requirements in project areas such as IT testing and product acceptance, new business operating models with innovative approaches to IT solutions support, market research of emerging or available product functionality and operation readiness assessment.

May provide guidance to staff on complex assignment. Performs other duties as required.

Review, analyze and evaluate user needs against systems in order to determine the most effective means of satisfying the specific user requirements within prevailing business and technical strategies.

Provide detailed descriptions or user needs, program functions and steps required to develop or modify business systems.

Participate in and/or direct the documentation that describes product use and administration as well as manuals for users.

Must have prior experience in the business operations, organization and administration of medical schools and/or academic health centers.

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related discipline required, MBA or Masters highly desirable. IIBA Certification highly desirable.

3 to 5 years of General Business Analysis experience, preferably in an IT consulting environment or across various industries and project types.

3 plus years of experience using Requirements Management tools such as Requisite Pro, DOORS, Calibre RM or similar.

Expertise in requirement management in Agile, RUP or other formal process environments documenting formalized requirements.

Demonstrated knowledge of the software development life cycle and project management practices required.

Strong proficiency using all MS Office applications.

Technical knowledge of all phases of application system analysis and development required.

Excellent oral and written communication skills required including ability to make effective presentations, create project documentation artifacts, develop technical documentation and interact effectively in negotiations and team settings serving multiple levels of stakeholders.

Position Overview:

The Senior Network Engineers is responsible for the overall integrity, integration, performance, and security of all network systems including local area networks (LAN), and wide area networks (WAN).

Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and guidance to other staff providing networking services, coordinate tasks and ensure their execution and documentation in accordance with established corporate standards. Responsible for keeping abreast of new network technologies and evaluating their applicability to company's environment and stated business goals. Serves as top-level technical expert in the analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of all network systems, responsible for their overall security, integrity, and reliability. Oversees the implementation of network system upgrades and modifications, including planning, testing, scheduling and coordination. Ensures that change management and defined security procedures for all network systems are executed in accordance with Company policies and procedures Develops, maintains, and oversees a schedule of system backups and test restorations. Ensures that the business recovery plan for network systems adequately addresses company requirements.
